The theory paper (85 marks, 2.5 hours, 43 questions) is set only from the 19 lessons here, across physics, chemistry and biology. Lessons 2, 3, 4, 9, 12, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 31 and 32 are assessed only through the Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA), done at home, not in the theory paper. The practical exam (15 marks) is separate.

CheckedWritten from the NIOS Science and Technology (212) curriculum, its question paper design and sample paper, and the NIOS self learning material, covering the 19 lessons set in the theory paper (the 13 assignment-only lessons are named in the exam note), with a 5-mark passage question for most lessons. Where a lesson matches Haya's CBSE Class 10 Science, the writer started from those topics and changed every exam field to NIOS marks; the rest is new writing. Each batch was then checked separately against the NIOS lesson text and recent NIOS papers (up to April 2026): 152 corrections, no wrong quiz answers, every chemical equation balanced by script, and questions too close to NIOS papers rewritten in Haya's own words. Where the NIOS lesson has a misprint or a wrong or outdated fact, Haya gives the correct one with a short note of what the lesson says.
